Why I'm Running
As Public Utilities District Commissioner, I am responsible for setting utility policy, approving annual budgets, establishing electric and water rates, approving infrastructure development, and selecting the general manager to oversee utility operations. I take this position seriously and am committed to affordability, continuous improvement, superior customer service, reliability, and accountability. I pledge to represent you, the customer-owners, and effectively manage our critical resources.

With over 30 years of professional experience in business management, engineering design, and consulting, I am ready to serve as your Public Utilities District Commissioner from day one.
Education
- Master of Business Administration, Washington State University
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Brigham Young University
- Certified Advanced Utility Accounting, American Public Power Association
Professional Qualifications
- Utility Consulting Expertise: provided comprehensive rate design, cost-of-service analyses, AMI data analytics solutions, and regulatory compliance consultation to utilities nationwide. I have seen what works and what does not.
- Licensed Professional Engineer: designed energy-efficient buildings and worked with diverse stakeholders to reduce energy consumption to preserve our resources.
- Successful Business Management: launched and managed two local engineering consulting firms focused on infrastructure development and rehabilitation.
Community Involvement
- Happy Resident: For nearly 30 years, I’ve called Clark County home. During this time, I raised my family and explored & enjoyed the beautiful PNW.
- Presence at PUD: I’ve attended utility board meetings for over 12 years, gaining deep insights into operations, issues, budgets, and policies.
- Community Service: StreamTeam conservation action, Adopt-a-Road clean-up, Share House and St. Paul church volunteer (helping distribute necessities to displaced individuals), STEM mentor in local schools.
